Loving the new hardware mode ,but?
So far I’m really enjoying a mode with no abilities and supers .its a breath of fresh air not being spammed by a whole lot of crap, but imo I would like to see no exotics as well as I’ve seen people still crutching on weapons like osteo Strega and witherhoard etc and armor like one eyed mask and feed back fences.
Would like to know what other players thoughts are ?
Would really like to see this as a permanent new game mode to ,having clash and control versions also.

Just play a different game. You want a game with no abilities, no space magic, and now no exotic, sounds about right for CoD or any other FPS.

As a large supporter of Hardware being added (been asking since D1) this is a bridge too far. And honestly if someone is dying a lot to Witherhoard and Osteo, removing exotics isn't going to help them. They're just going to die a lot lol.

No weapons,no abilities,no melee,just run around capping zones.

This game and its stat assisted assassins is very very cute. That's also why no one knows how it works.

1 ReplyWell i play destiny for a couple years and i saw how pvp was before beyond light dropped (before stasis and strand was in the game) and pvp was amazing , yes you had some broken abilities here and there but at least people were just playing and having fun , nowadays every pvp nerd needs to sweat their @ss of by playing pvp with strand , stasis , a well or bubble with barricades that give overshields . Destiny pvp was fun but the pvp playerbase itself destroyed it . It is like giving dynamite to a bunch of kids and tell them to behave ... 😑

I would like a mode where they remove all guns and armor, just walk around naked.... now let's see their "crutch"

Dord of the Lance does not approve. Lets run down a quick list of weapons that would be gone. Ace of spades? Sturm? Mida? Rat King? Bad Juju? Sweet business? Jade Rabbit? Monte Carlo? Suros Regime? Chaperone? Huckleberry? Last Word?(Probably the only one that deserves it) Vigilance Wing? Hawkmoon? DMT? Cryostesia? Traveler's Chosen? NTTE? That's only in the first slot and its not even all the things in the first slot. If you can't outgun someone using oste striga then you might need to work on your aiming skills. There's aiming skills required at times, sometimes in Destiny despite what the consortium of MnK players, people that suck, devs, and children that want to be the boss without paying the cost say.

I concur. Go the whole way > people are crutching on exotics and we have tons of random-rolled legendaries... exotics are abilities wrapped in gear. I would say try it out as a rotator at least.. with a no heavy and special mode either... but I actually think Bungie can't do it for Destiny 2.. never seen them code out a piece of gear from a mode only..
