Rampage needs a buff

Back in the day rampage used to be an S-tier perk in PvP and Pve but sadly it has been powercrept hard. In PvP there is no reason to use rampage if golden tricorn is present as that is a greater damage buff for longer. We also have desperate measures which is the same damage but lasts longer and can synergize with abilities. In Pve the damage of rampage times 3 is actually pretty good but it goes away to quickly so it's basically useless for high tier activities. I'm not sure what the solution to this is. Should rampage get a duration duff, damage buff, or a total rework? Maybe kills at rampage times 3 increase the duration by a larger amount like 7-10 seconds and refresh ammo like subsistence? Just a thought but it seriously needs some help.

  • Maybe it should work like wormgod perk. Rampage x3 takes 4 seconds to decay into rampage x2 taking 7 seconds to decay into rampage x1 etc...

    • So would you say multi kill clip and kill clip aren’t good either? Rampage has a 5 second timer. Kill clip has a 5 second timer. Multi-kill clip has a 5 second timer. 33%/25%/50% are all quite strong. They just all have ups and downs for each. I’d still say Rampage on an add clear weapon is still A tier. Straight forward, stackable, and doesn’t require reloads, additional actions, kills/reloads within a time frame/magazine or time in combat. I’d say if anything, Killing Tally has just been a better option on weapons with subsistence/Reconstruction, and (thankfully) it’s been limited to LMG’s and Traces.

      • Pulses and autos are bananas at the moment! Which is all good ….but rampage is beast as it is 😂

      • The duration definitely needs a buff. In PvP, it’s too short, you don’t have enough time to get into another engagement. And if you do, you’re probably too low health to be able to secure the kill. It needs a duration buff so that you can heal up, greater duration at higher stacks, and if I’m being honest, I think it should grant a HP bump at x3. At Rampage x1 it should last 6 seconds, at x2 it lasts 7 seconds, and at x3 it lasts 8 seconds and kills refund 50 HP.

          Rampage is fine imo because it's timer based and doesn't go away when you reload or holster like killing tally does. I use rampage on my commemoration instead of killing tally for this reason and it's great

        • Orange bar or above enemies should grant max stacks, stack decay instead of disappearing all at once similar to wormgod. However in return lower pvp damage slightly so it doesn't become a menace.
