Spirit of Galanor for sure should've been for all classes
It's kind of ridiculous that Hunter while having the highest DPS supers will also be having the only super refunding ability on the Exotic Class Item. What is this class favoritism?
Edit: Definitely remove Spirit of the Bear and Harmony to make room on the Titan and Warlock for Galanor. Both of those exotic effects are hot garbage
Edit 2: Also Spirit of Swarmers should also have been about buffing Threadling damage not adding Threadlings to Tangles. I'd say the Treadling damage was always the point of Swarmers for most players

7 RepliesI have a question: the whole business about which class has the highest DPS, does it actually matter so long as your fireteam defeats the boss or is this some sort of PvE equivalent of a K/D flex?

3 RepliesI mean, every class gets star eater scales and I cant imagine galanor's effect being particularly effective compared to the actual exotic. Same deal with synthoceps, likely not gonna give as high of a buff as actual synthoceps.

2 RepliesWhat's funny to me is that Bungie has actively been against super Regen exotics since that infamous "Reckoning" debacle and to this day only 6 supers have a Regen effect when paired with an exotic, and only 3 of them require you to actually get kills to give energy back. - Blade Barrage (hits or kills) - Banner Shield (blocked damage) - Nova Bomb (kills) - Well of Radiance (kills) - Stormcaller (kills) - Deadfall (targets tethered) To give this regen effect to ALL hunter supers in the Prismatic subclass is comical. The only thing other I can see being comical is Titans getting Spirit of Ursa for the little baby banner shield to give super energy on blocked damage too. I can see that getting crazy annoying in pvp. Granted we don't know the full extent of these Spirit exotics and the super return could be extremely diminished and not a 1:1 copy of the actual exotic. Still excited to try these but my hopes for have Spirit of Dawn Chorus + Spirit of Star Eaters sadly won't be a thing. Big rip.

1 ReplyNow make the average hunter out dps me in raids and we ll think about it. In most groups I'm still dropping the highest damage with tractor and fusion rifles on nezarec 😂. Just because good on paper doesn't mean people can execute it. They really need the crutch.

9 RepliesBruh. Use spirit of bear and spirit of armamentarium for 2 grenade shields that give super energy based on how much you are shot while gaurding with the lowest cooldown nades.

Use the new song of fire super or needle storm. the apotheosis to get a ton of nades to proc ashes to assets. Then use prismatic to use more grenades. It's about buildcraft. Don't worry about what you don't have worry about what you do have and how you can use it. Also, hunter prismatic has the most watered down versions of their supers. They need it. Warlocks have needle, nova, and song of Flame. Mass warlock nades was the meta damage for so long with starfire. Devour with wovenmail, phoenix dive to hellion that looks like it bombs.

2 RepliesWhile I do think that Bungie kinda favors hunters… I don’t think it’s the end of the world. I’m willing to bet that the effects from those are going to be somewhat less than the base exotics. For example, Shards perk giving 1/4 to 1/3 instead of 1/2. Or Osmiomancy perk giving 1/6th grenade energy on hit instead of 1/4. Either way, it looks like everyone’s getting Star Eaters. Needlestorm might now be the highest DPS super in the game lol. Warlock Osmio + Verity’s looks strong if that grenade regen isn’t just on coldsnaps. (Even better and swap with Star eater or harmony if it procs on Turret hits). Titan Severance/Inmost/Invis melee + contact could be fun. But Eternal Warrior’s tier 4 damage bonus after a thundercrash might be great too with Star eater boost. Idk, it looks fun. Hunters have great ones, but the others have some good ones too.
