Look at this from the perspective of the folks kicking you - their time is valuable too. Most likely, your experience with those groups wouldnt be very enjoyable anyway. It could be that the situation you presented with was just not workable in any ptactical sense. Mitigate / minimize yourself as a team liability, then try the LFG again. There's some good advice here about build crafting. Or.....do a search, you'll turn up good options. Put yourself in position to benefit a team. I don't know what you prefer to play, but in a team setting you can't go wrong with being solid in support. Great general purpose ones include Well Warlock and Orpheus Rig Nightstalker. Different modes have different preferred requirements. In Raids, DPS is king. You can become viable with sone intent. I'm sure you'll get there.
