MAKE UN-SUNSET RITUAL WEAPONS FOCUSABLE & PUT SOME IN DARES.
Could put ability to focus unchanged ritual weapons from Forsaken-onwards, as Origin Traits pre-exist… even without origin would be fine.
Can reintroduce updated perk variations also w/ Original Trait through ongoing updates to activities, etc.
Otherwise, waiting for a specific weapon going off the current - only one new ritual, per activity, per season, will take forever (looking at you Bygones) & prevent new weapons being created for ritual playlists (rocket sidearm, 2 burst HC, Healing Auto, Glaive, etc)
Also, for weapons that are hyper specific to an area that is currently sunset, like tangle shore weapons etc, if they don’t align to a release & also let’s be frank, these weapons should be brand new for a paid release, putting Forsaken-onwards v/ into Dare of Eternity would be perfect, as some of the current pool is pre-origin trait weapons anyway, therefore identical.
My fear is, and I believe this will happen, Bungie will use un-sunsetting as a means to resell us stuff we already had & got rid of (due to sunsetting they implemented & lack of vault space) for a very long time to come given the volume of weapons available, as it is relatively cost effective due to weapon models/audio etc already being developed… I really hope this isn’t the case, I love reprised weapons but sometimes you can’t beat new
