Just found out 2 days ago that I was accepted for the Advanced Welding course at my college but im really nervous, and it's gonna be completely paid for... downside i have to take 3 math classes along with it in my first semester 🙃, upside is that ill be getting an Associates degree in Welding, I just have to wait for my FAFSA and Sealed transcripts to be processed at the college.
A rep for Lockheed came by yesterday and looked at my tig/mig welds, and I got a business card and told me to call when I graduate my Welding III and Advanced course, so here's to hoping 🤞

Congrats. You might need the math if you get into technical stuff. When I became a carpenter I had to calculate for a concrete pour. Sidewalk was feet long and inches deep. Piers were cubic feet. Concrete comes in cubic yards. I was glad I'd taken enough math to figure it out.

That's awesome! Do all that you can, and try not to stress yourself out on the math classes if that is a soft spot.
