It's funny how kids keep telling me Qp isn't that serious. But Bungie takes it very seriously. "Qp" has sbmm, forced wins, forced losses, it determines your comp rating, your Bungie Hidden Skill rating, and they have a Quiter penalty. Along with if you try to find away around their Sbmm/ Win ratio, they will permanently ban you.

No game mode in Destiny has "forced" win or losses. Bungie does have a hidden skill rating, but I doubt that your Control Skill transfers to Comp. Don't know for sure, though. Yes, smurfing will get you banned.

Your hidden skill rating determines your comp score. It's wild how every game I won I gained 200 points and when I lost I lost 25 or less. But everyone else here cry about how they lose more than they gain. How do you love and read every Bungie twab known to man kind but miss over simple things. Bungie literally forced you to lose games. You're delusional to think they don't. It's wild how Bungie finds 2 negative skill rating players to put on my team almost every game, but the whole other team is a 1.2-2+kd. Bungie loves to lie. You love to ignore Bungies lies. You're Bungies biggest defendant. Of course if you ignore stats and listen to everything Bungie says as 100% fact when they can't even tell you what their perks do or break something and not even know....

I don't care about "defending" anyone or anything. I don't like when people get things wrong, especially when it's convenient for them. Blaming Bungie shifts the responsibility of losing from you to them, which lets you maintain the belief that you're a "good player" when you lose games. You got more things wrong. You don't know the skill ratings of players. Bungie uses a Snake Draft for their Lobby Balancing. Bungie has explicitly said that they don't intentionally weight games to make players achieve a 50% win rate. The Comp Rating system has changed significantly from its original design. Now, Comp uses mostly Rank-Based MM, not SBMM. As a result, Bungie has been able to standardize point gains and losses (though they do still vary). The point changes have happened gradually over time. Blowouts and one-sided games still happen, but I fail to see how that is Bungie's fault or what they could do differently. There are simply too many factors to perfectly balance teams every game, and all Bungie has is their "skill" rating, which is essentially a measure of a player's average performance. An average rating can never account for variances on an individual game level. Additionally, maybe Bungie's formula for calculating Skill isn't very good. So they THINK they're balancing teams, but the ratings are meaningless or not a good representation of performance. You mention stats in your post, but you forgot to link them.

I just think penalty in Control is absurd.

Yeah, I win the majority of my forced losses. So Bungie will find a game where I'm down 30+ points in progress. In the twab, Bungie said if you try to find ways around their system, they will perma ban you. Someone's already been banned for it. I could care less for that freak of nature. But I don't think you should be banned for not wanting to be forced into losses.
