Like it or not like it could be more accurate. There doesn’t need to be a poll because most players don’t like it but it’s something they do and isn’t new. Theres a reason on their end they do it. They already know players don’t like it. Much like leveling. Most players don’t like it but every DLC we level. Second time I responded but had more than 10 seconds to write a response.

If there’s something the company does that we, the consumers, don’t like, we have the right to complain about it. In business, consumer feedback is required for the receiving company to make adjustments and continue pleasing the consumers and make money. What doesn’t make sense is for consumers to take it up the rear just because “they did it before.” Keep behaving like that, and you’re not going to get what you want. If we pressured Bungie during Shadowkeep as much as we did during Lightfall… Beyond Light, Witch Queen and Lightfall would’ve been a whole lot better. Don’t believe me? Ask yourself why the fan favorite expansions, Taken King and Forsaken were so good. It was because of the immense amount of consumer feedback during the barren D1 Year 1 and the embarrassing D2 Year 1. A lot of Bungie defenders don’t understand that the real fans (those who criticize Bungie when they F-up) are the reason why Destiny has ever received good content. Without us, Bungie would have killed Destiny a long time ago.

 • A lot of the “real fans” willingly engage with the things they complain about. Many of the complaints in this forum are vent posts, exaggerations, or trolling. Low player engagement and a new release just around the corner are incentives for Bungie to respond to player feedback. Complaining on its own does very little. Vent posts, exaggerations and trolling are actually reasons to ignore player feedback. With respect to time gating, it exists because it works. Players who desperately chase loot will log in specially to get it and play longer sessions to grind it out. The reason Bungie made a compromise is because they’re trying to win players back in order to sell TFS. It’s a good PR move, but of course they’re not going to remove it completely… because they know it works!
