I think it's a good idea why because we'll burn though the content, and when we burn through all the content, there is nothing left to consume, it would be boring, however given the quests my concern is them quest throttling the kill on precision I see your point clearly.

The problem I don't think is that they're being drip fed, but the other timer on the ornament. 6 weapons at launch, +1 per week, and we'll have until FS to get the roll we want on the weapon we might want the ornament for. They're putting two different time gates on the same gear.
-
just remember you have to complete the quest first to unlock the weapons to drop from onslaught, it's on the stream 10 minute mark, either way it is still gated. the ornament doesn't matter at all really.
-
That's the easy part though, especially if you can do multiple at once. I'm just saying that putting half the weapons behind a time gate that will leave as little as 2 weeks to get the roll you want on the version you want is just bad design. Now, if each weapon had 7-8 weeks after they release, it would be different. Not desirable, but definitely better when we consider, correct me if I'm wrong, that only the unique versions can get enhanced perks after FS launches? The quest will be done in no time because these types of quests never demand more than 300-500 even in regular modes. You can just do what I do and go to a lost sector like the one south of Shaw Han (Icr the name) and kill like 80 per run give or take.

Not if they throttle the precision kills on the some of the quests, they know that many players will not chase all of the weapons as for me I don't know really and also if they release them all I bet there will be a lot more bugs to fix.

They don't really ever do that though. The only 2 times they've ever done it were with the catalysts for PLance and Dead Messenger. And honestly, I'm more concerned about how quickly several of these or the perks will get nerfed than I am about the bugs. I mean, do you really think Chill Clip would've been nerfed if it was never put on weapons like Riptide? I'd be more surprised if they don't nerf perks like Cascade or Explosive Light because of Edge Transit being able to get both at once.

I think it’s their attempt to give every weapon their own little spotlight as well as pad their engagement in what is normally a slump time. I don’t like how close the final weapon is to the final shape release, but it’s 100% not the end of the world.
