In addition to loadouts, stats matter. Having high intellect almost guarantees supers in the later rounds and those supers often dictate the match winner. Use the meta - it’s the meta because it works. Positioning is incredibly important. Don’t challenge fights out in the open with no cover available. Flanking doesn’t always work especially if you do it every single round and become predictable. When you take space from the enemy team and lock it down, it forces them to have to make the move which is often uncoordinated in solo queue. Prioritize objectives. If you have good zone control, lock it down. If you have an enemy down, cover the revive and take that space from the enemy. Don’t freely give up heavy. Even if just to contest it while your team caps point.

  • I meant that stats matter more as a generality but intellect is still just as important. It hurts me to go into round 9 and see one of my teammates running something like well of radiance still doesn’t have super because they have 10 int. I even witnessed someone get golden gun last weekend which was due largely because they were fragging but higher int made it possible.

As long as you’re running around 5 max int ur fine

  • Having high int won't win you the match but in a tight match it will certainly help to secure a round or two.

I play a good bit of trials, and this is correct. Supers are inky in play generally during very contentious games are 4vs4 nail biters even then if you're not a well Bubble or blade barrage you still probably won't have it.

  • I still say it’s better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. If you can afford it of course. In sweaty matches, having your super at all often solidifies a round win. Now if you’re running something like osmiomancy warlock then you’re better suited spec-ing into recovery/discipline obviously. Again, I meant stats as a generality and intellect as an example for most cases.

I totally agree with you about general stats. A lot of ppl go in with bad stats that's a massive hindrance to them. I think the point about intellect doesn't really detract from your overall statement just to point out it shouldn't be sacrificed for, "if you can afford it" is the correct thinking if you don't have a very good reason for running it at 10 then 5-7 is the max, and if you aren't one of the three I mentioned it may not be worth specing into it at all. I can't tell you the last time I saw an arc super on any class, get it (other than me, I got 1 gathering storm 3 weeks ago for the whole day, and I had like 19 kills that match) Honestly, my comment is more for other ppls context than to challenge your point. You seem to have a pretty good idea of what you're doing.
