Absolutely shameless. So sunsetting was needed right? right?
Not much to say tbh, absolutely speechless how this company operates now.
While watching that dev livestream today, i've literally had ZERO excitement in me, yet only disappointment instead.
They sold us sunsetting as a necessity to get rid of op weapons. All the clowns believed it. Us logically thinking people always hated it while knowing their intent behind it and now they reissue all the most op pinnacle weapons that were literally NAMED to be the reason for sunsetting and devaluing our time we spent grinding for ALL the weapons prior to beyond light.
Now the devs say they are most "excited" for recluse and mountaintop to finally be back. And also they are so excited for their beloved blast furnace. THAT WE LITERALLY GRINDED OUT FOR HUNDREDS OF HOURS AND YOU ROBBED IT FROM US FOR NO REASON OTHER THAN RESELLING IT TO US AND WASTING OUR TIME TO THE MAXIMUM.
I would lie to say i will boycott cause i will play. Not much tho cause im done wasting my time in this trash. Knowing this community tho, people will praise them for these "awesome" nostalgic weapons. Meanhwile they forgot how we even got here. Greed, lazyness, devaluing players time.
But i wanted to express my almost numb reaction and disgust to how disrespectful this company treats our valuable time. Yea i know most of the remaining players haven't played for as long as us who were here for sunsetting but believe me, its a straight punch in the guts and i truly hope this company keeps losing as much revenue as possible and gets taken over by Sony more than ever.

1 ReplyNero, I stopped playing this broken and empty game right after they announced that sunsetting fiasco. I never came back since. Why? Because I knew then they were going to do this. And I ain’t gonna get scammed by that trick again! These guys can’t do squat anymore. Bwahahahahahaha!!! It’s a dead game! No more talent left here. Their game is empty. The system running it is old and broken. They don’t own their butts anymore, Sony does. They can’t do squat at all! Bwahahahahahaha!!! It’s laughable! Bwahahahahahaha!!! We're at the end of D2's life and just like Rise of Iron for D1, Bungie will give us everythig we wanted before the end. Power-creep doesn't matter when there is no tomorrow and they've lost so many players they're pulling out all the stops to get them back for Final Shape.

Those of us that quit after sunsetting saw this coming. The fact that they didn't just reverse sunsetting is just throwing salt on the wound (also predictable). If you know anything about Bungie know that they will either sunset these weapons again, or nerf them into the ground eventually.

1 ReplyI remember mountaintop getting abused in pvp a lot .. It will only be a matter of time untill they do it again and then what ?? Another sunsett because pvp toddlers cannot behave themselves ?? It is about time that we get pve only guns that you cannot use in pvp or else those guns will get nerfed and pve gets punished for it .

1 ReplyYup. Sunsetting was needed. For BUNGO! Sunset 1/2 the game. That gives a lazy greedy dev, devoid of talent and creativity, a boat load of 'additional' content. 'Additional' content that requires little effort, expense, talent or creativity. Bungo needed sunsetting. Bungo wanted sunsetting.

When they first introduced sunsetting I knew they couldn’t produce enough weapons to justify sunsetting and now with power creep sunsetting was pointless.

Even though I hate they used current raid weapons as a option when they had plenty old raid weapons to use but I finally glad they stop being scared of doing unique roll combination Let's be honest Destiny weapons been getting stale we been grinding the all most the same rolls on each weapon with a different skin on them for soo long it stop exciting a gd amount of players IMO even though the mode looks boring players will grind it for the weapons because how interesting the rolls are if it was mediocre mode with mediocre weapons old and returning players wouldn't bother The issue now is that ppl worried about power creep I say screw power creep and balance players been complaining for awhile that ads are getting infinite spawns and spongier due to the reason we lean so heavily on ability spamming besides Destiny 2 at a crossroad now to determine it's future so go out with a bang

to be honest im the type of player that never unlocked luna but did unlock mountain top so i have a unique experience being proud of my accomplishment while also being happy that i actually got to try out luna a 180 handcannon that consistently 3 tapped was just clean but it also makes you ask why even use anything else when its all 140s that also 3 tap bungie takes the power away only to give it back to you later with extra steps iv seen some double damage perk set ups on these new weapons so i think they are really desperate.. peoples trust has been broken i feel, i really dont mind other players unlocking the loot that i earned cus i still have the memories of that loot at its peak now that loot is just a shadow of its former self i barely recognise

The streamers and youtubers are mostly the ones really getting on their knees and thanking bungie. The number of videos I came across seeing how much they were giving bungie a tap on their backs for bringing these back was laughable. Bungie is a joke now. Honestly, I don't even know why Sony invested into them. But the reissue weapons is a joke

I haven't played in a couple months now, and I let my preorder lapse for PS5. I'm so glad I'm away from this mess, there's no nostalgia left. Just a reminder of how much I used to love the game before Activision left them to their own inability to produce content. This is just a low production cost/time effort to get people back to buy the last expansion. Nope, not this time. I'll watch how the story ends on YT.
