Considering all the problems with cheating in PvP on PC... Maybe it is time to put Crucible itself behind a pay-wall.

Trials of Osiris requires for play to own the current running expansion. And it surely does help to make it harder (I AM NOT SAYING IMPOSSIBLE!) for cheaters to ruin other peoples play. So what about making PvP in general Pay2Play again by requiring to own ANY MAJOR DLC (not the latest) to be able to play it? Sure, we would take a hit on our player numbers if that would be done. But the quality would somewhat improve. You would only have to pay once to be able to play it. Trials on the other hand requires you to pay every year to be able to play it. Just want to bring up this topic for discussion. Maybe it is time to make the cut for the greater good. Edit: I want to remind people that as it is right now, a cheater gets banned from regular PvP, makes a new Account and uses the same cheat software again on a fresh account without any barriers in place. With Crucible being locked behind a Paywall too, they would have to pay at least money before they can continue cheating, ultimatively costing them money every time after a ban, compared to having them roam around for free.

 • I'm a console player, and I view the cheating on PC as the inevitable cost of playing on PC
Obviously kidding. Although, it is kind of funny that console costs around 1/10th of the cost of a PC yet has to deal with far less cheating
