Title. Commendations are supposed to be an actual reflection of how you as a guardian contribute to the team. Adding a requirement to get to a certain score for a guardian rank made it just another stat people had to grind out, completely voiding the heart of the system. I love the fact I can actually let my teammates know how they were to play with without having to party up and directly tell them, and that I can see what kind of player they are with just the commendations they have received. But now with the requirement to grind out commendations I can't tell if someone genuinely received commendations because of how they play or if they just grinded those out for a triumph.
