DnD post because I need a break from writing

Hello, any and all who visit me weekly to make sure I am still kicking, welcome to my post of the (INSERT TIME PERIOD HERE)! Anyways, I'll talk a bit about DnD, why don't I? I have a buddy who's working on getting me into his ongoing campaign, and I get to use my wonderfully flavored CAT! That's right, lads, lasses, lards, larpers, and so on, I am playing a CAT! Not a tabaxi, you silly, a CAT. An Awakened Cat! I found a cool, (balanced), homebrew to use for a race, and a background. So, now that I get to play a cat, what class shall I choose? A comedically small barbarian? Haha. No. A WARLOCK! Specifically, a GOOLOCK! I love goolocks for a bunch of reasons, but mainly because it fits the flavor. Imagine, you are an NPC who is walking through the town, looking for a nice purse or something, then in your mind, a booming voice commands you to turn into the alley. Terrified, you do so. In the alley is nothing but a Russian Blue cat and a book. You hear the cat speak, knowing it's the last words you will hear. "Eat this." Fire beams down from heaven. 1d8 damage, leaving you dazed. The cat looks surprised and bolts away, the book vanishing in caustic smoke. Yeah, I was gonna write a cooler moment, but all my rolls are terrible, so I decided to go a comedic route. Anyways, the character's spell set and ability scores tie into the cat (22 Dexterity was allowed solely because I have 3 strength.) I don't have a high spellcasting modifier, but I never needed one. I am a flavor character, who buffs my party by spamming thunderclap and abusing Resistance. Anyways, that's all I got for now. Panzer and Co. storylines are on hold until I am satisfied with the spot that Santius and Sraekt plotlines are at. Currently Writing Sraekt Ch. 2, so don't expect any new and awesome stories coming from me to #Offtopic yet, my friends. Feel free to tell me about your favorite characters' favorite moment, I love to hear stories, and I may even get that needed burst of inspiration

    • Frick the Gnome Lightning Sorcerer I played in a Pathfinder campaign was really fun. We were taking a sky ship to escort a diplomat from our country to an enemy nation for peace negotiations. These ships were powered by crystals that interacted very poorly to other sources of magic, and skyrates (sky pirates) kept attacking us. So I had a brilliant idea: tie me to a rope and dangle me off the ship far r enough so I wouldn't set off our ships crystals, then I just cast Fart Noise (Minor Illusion or something) at the enemies ship crystals and made them explode. Later on we discovered the ship was actually loaded with barrels of a special powder that amplified magic and the diplomat was gone. We had actually been escorting a magic nuke to the enemy capital. A brave NPC steered the ship straight up and we all jumped off with rings of feather fall, but I made sure to pocket as much of the magic dust as possible. One of the last sessions before the campaign was dropped we were in a boss fight with... basically Phyrexians deep within an ancient high tech Dungeon within a mountain. The leader set the place to self destruct and was attempting to escape via an airship in the hanger. None of us could catch up to him and that ship was our way out, so I tossed out some powder and used my Force Lightning and I hit literally the entire hanger. The boss dropped dead, a party member on the opposite side of the massive room nearly joined them, and the ship started to explode along with everything else. I objectively made things far worse. We got out though, the mountain exploded and all but one member of the party went deaf for half a session lol Of all the characters I've ever made, Frick was the most powerful. We were like level 3.
