Instead of a nerf, keep it exactly as is. Transfer it to heavy slot. Solve pvp woes, still incredibly viable PvE option.
It honestly shouldn't have rolled out in second slot.
Buuut while I have your attention
Aim assist value for lorentz -32
Chapherone -70 on top of a spicy 100 range
Le monarque - 70, accuracy 81 and doesn't use special... Yikes

Edited by Hawpy: 2/8/2022 1:42:35 PMThe Palindrome (Adept) - 79 aim assist. Range values from 55 to 86 plus Rangefinder, but saying those stats are too good doesn't fit the agenda. Trying to compare stats between weapon archetypes isn't easy, they aren't 1-to-1. You don't need me to tell you that a Scout Rifle with 20 Range would still be able to shoot further than a Sidearm with 100 Range. The values for each stat are tuned for that weapon type. Le Monarque's 70 aim assist is very average for Bows and its fixed 85 Accuracy is only slightly higher than the base Accuracy (i.e. no perks) for Precision Frame Bows, all of which have 78, 79 or 80. Lorentz Driver and Arbalest with 32 and 31, respectively, are worst-in-class for Linear Fusions by quite a distance; Lorentz's 44 Range is also nothing extraordinary when compared to other LFRs. Chaperone's 70 aim assist is just barely best-in-class, beating Heritage's 68. Logically, it does not follow that all of these weapons have too much aim assist or that their stats are game-breakingly exceptional.
Yes, Chaperone's 100 Range is way out there, but it has already been confirmed that it's going to be nerfed, so it's no longer a point of discussion at this time.
