Recreated the same post since it wasn't seen last week when I reported this issue. I had collected the atlas skews before acquiring the quest( I thought at the time that they were just collectibles for the season) and now I can't continue the quest(still stuck on Tracing The Stars I) and maybe not acquire the trace rifle exotic when its quest line ends.
