Accidentally didn't install BattlEye and now can't play

So when Destiny 2 got its new update a popup for BattlEye to download came up. At first, I thought it was some virus and selected never show again and did not install, but now I've realised it is required and I can't download it. Can someone talk me through where I can get the download? Thank you

  • Please go to the Destiny 2 folder in your Steam directory and see if there's a battleye folder. If there is, please go to it and run the Install_BattlEye.bat file . From the FAQ here: https://www.battleye.com/support/faq/ .

    • you may have to fully uninstall d2 and re-install to get it to install. per the help article: "If BattlEye is denied to install, Destiny 2 will be unable to launch. If players uninstall BattlEye or try to launch Destiny 2 from its installation folder instead of Steam's launcher, they will receive the PLUOT error code when signing in." https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/4404072197140-BattlEye-Anti-Cheat-Support-Guide
