Getting this error after battleye starts
Windows 7
This has been reported on Windows 8 and 10 as well.
Reinstalls haven't helped, replacing dll hasn't worked, reportedly upgrading to Windows 10 has had some success but also some failures.
Patience is required, but silence isn't
If you're having the same problem, please post here so we can keep the pressure up.

Our issue made it to the top of the issue list in todays TWAB, so we have some progress, however shallow it may be.

Just had a 144 byte Destiny update come through.... still broken with the same missing file issue :(
-
is there still no progress
-
The scary part is that, if we are able to play and they fix this issue, will the coding between battleye and bungie be 100% working or will it be a new bug maybe even banning us from the game because of the wrong or missing files?
-
I see Bungie just pinned their comment to the top, which hopefully means they're still actively trying to fix it and want to make it clear to us by pinning their post!
-
No news about this yet, most reports are from win 7, but there have been a few 8s and 10s. Bungie replied they're investigating but no updates since. Reinstalling hasn't worked, replacing the missing dll hasn't worked.
-
Same here. user win 7. system error. destiny2.exe not found. if bungie dont give a solution... they just waiting to see if we give up and change for windows 10. also users in win10 they got crash and black screens.
-
win 7 same issue, thank -blam!- i held off and never dropped £88 on Witch Queen.
-
Same here, I wish there was some acknowledgement of the issue at @BungieHelp or some info whether it's going to be fixed or not.

I`m a win 7 pro user and i`m having the same problem. everything work fine before the latest update(except the low fps cutscene). After the update, the launcher keep showing "destiny2.exe - entry point not found" i`ve re-install both battle eye and destiny 2 several times which doesn`t solve any problem. I`m busy doing all the bounty last week just to prepare for this season, then i can`t even log in to the game, this really feel bad, hope you guys can solve this problem soon. i just want to log in and have some fun. good luck to all the guardians who are having the same problem and the dev who are trying to fix this.

Same issue, Win7, tried replacing dll, didn't work, tried re-installing VC_redist.x64.exe from MS, didn't work, just got another error instead (0xc000007b), instead of that my game is missing from my PC. Have reinstalled game as well, has gone into my local files as Bungie suggested on twitter and made sure that battleye was installed correctly. Has also done all of the above in all combinations imaginable with reboots between all the different cases. Have played Bungie games since Oni, a dedicated user would appriciate a fix. Cheers!

Similar issue on Windows 7 and Windows 10 Home. Reinstalling doesn't help. There is a message on the official Battleye website in the support section: We are currently receiving many requests for "Corrupted Memory # 0" crashes. For most gamers, this is due to the recent update of MSI Dragon Center and MSI SDK. Completely remove them from the system and reboot to fix the problem. Alternatively, you can also try updating Windows 10 to version 2004 or later, as this seems to fix the problem as well. Unfortunately, we cannot fix this on our part. I'm interested in Bunge Have you checked what you are adding to the game? I ask you to solve the problem with launching the game on Win7 and 10 operating systems.

I'm having a similar issue as well. Sadge.
-
they have not officially announced anywhere that destiny 2 will not support windows 7
-
Same here, Program can't start due to mysterious missing file....?? Windows 7. All latest drivers, updates etc. D2 working fine (for win 7) before 3.3.0. Now same problem we're all having.

Edited by moroon81: 8/24/2021 6:33:18 PMDitto and win 7 - thanks bungie. If you now require Win 10 an OBVIOUS alert should have been made before today. And yeah - good point that they haven't fixed the cinematic so are not likely to support Win 7.

Edited by DaxxZy: 8/27/2021 12:59:52 PMBackround maintenance today at 8 AM PDT. Iddy piddy tiddy sliver of chance it is for patch that will fix this fiasco. Never mind. Its for Bungie.net.

So aside from bumping this thread and bringing some levity into it, I'm wondering what other games you people are into, might be the time to try something else to past the time. Recomendations anyone?
-
Same issues here also, was fine before update If I try the destiny 2 executable it is a blank missing file If I try the destiny 2 launcher it's a random sounding long .dll Windows 7 pro x64 on i7 920 [dinosaur yes, but c'mon]
