SGA: You can get 100k Points in the Hero Nightfall this week (June 1st, Inverted Spire)

However, there are a few things you need to in order to reach 100k points. I wanted to outline these things here. As a general rule: take it slow and kill everything. This is very important. There are a few encounters where you can cause enemies to despawn when you progres too far. I've seen a lot of people make that mistake. We start with the area you first spawn in. You can actually earn points here. A good course of action here is to have two players progress as normal. They defeat the Vex near the Conflux and the Cabal that rush there. The third player however, should take to the right side of the regular path and kill the Fallen there. There's usually a Servitor with a Void Shield and some Shanks, Dregs and Vandals. Once you've defeated them, you can go up to the left and kill a few more Fallen there. All these respawn, so the third player should continue until the other two have progressed onto the next area. You will be pulled via teleport. In the next area it is important to notice that there are two Cabal Champions, a Barrier Colossus and a Unstoppable Incendior, below the platforms where that Blood Guard Centurion and the Vex spawn. You need those for 100k and Platinum. These do not despawn, so two players can go ahead if these Champions haven't been defeated by the time all Vex are dead. The following area is the area with the huge chasm where players usually drive through with their Sparrow. Do not drive ahead. Driving ahead to the area with the Guards will cause all enemies in the Sparrow part to despawn. You need these points and it will probably only take you a minute. The rest of the area is played as normal. Note that enemies on the drill can despawn if you reach 100% Progress before killing everything. Now we get to the lower drill. You should not drive ahead here either, as it will cause all enemies to despawn once you reach the boss area that follows. There's also a Barrier Hobgoblin here, usually in the second part of the middle part. You will need to defeat it to get Platinum. Once you have cleared all, you get to the final boss area. The boss follows the concept we have established throughout the Strike. Take it slow, kill everything. Don't melt Protheon. The best course here is to use Primaries and focus any adds that spawn in. In the first part of the fight you get several waves of Harpies worth several thousand points. Always focus these and stop damaging the boss. Adds despawn as soon as the Boss teleports to the next part. Same applies on Stage Two. After a bit of damage a wave of Goblins and Hobgoblins spawn in around the plate where the Protheon stands. Clear the wave, then continue damaging the boss. The final part also follows this. Damage the boss a bit, clear whatever spawns in. Once you're very close or above the 100k, you can use your Supers to defeat Protheon. This should get you your 100k Points Pinnacle drop. Hope this helps! EDIT: to throw in my personal loadout for this Strike: Ignition Code Primary GL, with Breach and Clear Artifact Mod on the Class Item Any Energy Scout Rifle with Anti-Barrier Mod (I use the VoG Scout) Leviathan's Breath

 • Ah nice. The first two groups I matched with skilled enemies when they hopped on their sparrows and got to the next guards. There was a barrier and overload here iirc that both despawned along with some other trash mobs. Hopefully I can get it on my third run through.
