Yes, you probably read it in the title, the next Skullgirls DLC character has been announced; Umbrella! What could Aeon have in store for her?[/quote] Like all members of the Canopy Kingdom’s royal family, Umbrella is in possession of an umbrella-shaped living weapon. Hers is known as Hungern, and can shapeshift into various nightmarish mouthes, from horse heads to anemones, as it tries to devour its opponents! We don’t have too many of her animations yet, but there’s a few [url=https://youtu.be/NqBppqJdG1Q]in this anouncement[/url]. While it’s great to have Umbrella here, I must admit I’m going to miss the “salty Umbrella” jokes.[spoiler] She—along with Squigly—were planned for the original release, but they got the boot in favor of Valentine & Double. Squigly got added back as first DLC, but Umbrella lost in all 3 of the next DLC votes. She & Annie both nearly made it in all three times, but ultimately got excluded. This led to a joke in the Skullgirls community about her always being really annoyed, depressed, and/or angry, all the time! With Annie being the first of this new wave of DLC characters, it would have been funny to see Umbrella get the can, [i]again[/i]![/spoiler] Anyway, Umbrella is the second of the 4 new DLC characters coming to Skullgirls, the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/258459605/0/0]first being Annie[/url]. Two more (three if there’s enough sales) are on the way, and don’t worry, I’ll be here to keep you all posted on this game that you don’t care about! [b][u]Tl;dr? Here’s my point![/u][/b] Umbrella is coming to Skullgirls 2nd Encore! No release date yet, though. Also, Annie should be getting released on PS4 this month, so keep your eyes peeled! Note; this DLC is only for the 2nd Encore version of the game. This means only PC, Switch, and PS4 are getting it.
