Okay so about a week to two weeks ago I just bought Destiny 2 Shadow keep for $40 I waited for the update for beyond light and then I purchased the new season pass however after the beyond light update and the live event I have not been able to access virtually any of my content and I'm strictly being limited to crucible and Gambit and raids and things like that. I've not been able to play any of the story content and every time I attempt to it keeps questioning or insisting that I purchase the new beyond light deluxe edition which is $69.99 and I do not see the reasoning nor sense in that with just recently purchasing shadowkeep for $40 with the $10 addition for the new season pass in beyond light and then now having to pay additional $70 on top of that I'm basically paying $120 for a game that I already owned and is free to play
