As he did, [b]Unity[/b] removed her hood.[/i] [b]Alignment[/b]: “So he was a Reckoner this whole time?” [b]Unity[/b]: “Not a ‘Reckoner’. A Grand Colonist.” [b]Alignment[/b]: “Right, sorry. And this ‘Grand Colony’ has a mothership that uses living organisms as batteries? That’s why he was amassing so many people and collecting so many resources?” [b]Unity[/b]: “That is correct.” [b]Alignment[/b]: “Remind me, how did you know this?” [b]Unity[/b]: “After Paradisum fell and the Omninavus assimilated almost all of its surface and inhabitants, myself included, the ship crash landed in another realm. I was trapped in the wreckage until nearby villagers found me while scavenging the ship. They took me in and gave me a place to stay as I learned how to use the Eighth Principle. Eventually, Contrast and Repetition came along with a group of mercenaries and raided the village to get back some of the technology the villagers took. I managed to follow them and go through a portal that led to the InMa. I’ve been stranded here ever since, monitoring them and eavesdropping on their plans. Then, I saw you running through the InMa to get back to the remnants of Paradisum. That was the first time I saw you since the assimilation.” [b]Alignment[/b]: “I see... I’m so sorry that you had to go through that at such a young age.” [b]Unity[/b]: “Don’t be. Because of this, we have a fighting chance. I know how the Omninavus functions and I know how we can get there.” [b]Alignment[/b]: “You have a way in?” [i][b]Unity[/b] extended her arm and revealed chains wrapped underneath her sleeve.[/i] [b]Unity[/b]: “I used the Eighth Principle on my sister before they left on their last expedition to the Omninavus... where Contrast led the others into a trap. Proximity and I are now unified. Our minds and abilities are linked. This means that I can use her powers to create a portal to the Omninavus so we can infiltrate the ship and take it out from the inside.” [b]Alignment[/b]: “Hmm. But we still aren’t prepared.” [b]Unity[/b]: “What do you mean? You have gathered your students to help you and have allowed them to get new equipment and upgrades. We should be ready by now.” [b]Alignment[/b]: “We aren’t. We need one more thing. After Contrast assimilated Gray Sector, he took something with him that he’s been wanting to steal for a long time. An Infinite Tree that grows fruits that grant different abilities. If you can use Proximity’s powers to warp that tree out of the ship, we can use it as a major advantage. As the light faded, a large black and blue ship shadowed over the stands and shops that surrounded [b]Alignment[/b] and [b]Unity[/b].[/i] [b]Unity[/b]: “That’s the Omninavus! We need to get out of here, now!” [i]A ray of blue light descended from the colossal aircraft and shined on the [b]InMa[/b]. The shops and stands cracked apart as well as the ground itself. [b]Alignment[/b] and [b]Unity[/b] rushed through the [b]Gray Door[/b] and closed it right before large chunks of buildings and ground were rising into the air.[/i] [b]Unity[/b]: “He’s assimilating the InMa itself. With it, he gains countless people and new technology.
