Just compile data on players with consecutive sessions in forges and assign punishment accordingly within that pool (no kills, multiple player reports, abnormally long sessions). Maybe not a perma band. But a restriction on certain gear for a few days or a bit in power level

How so? It's not hard to look up someone's session within the last minute/hour/day

Basically ban a bunch of nobody's and not touch the streamers. That's what bungie would do. But luckily no odys getting banned for a screwup on bungies end.
