Most of the AFK'ers I've seen are not making any effort to lower their light level. I'm sorry, but the lived experience does not match the narrative y'all are spreading.
And the "right way" to play is to actually play. You cannot tell me that --NOT PLAYING THE GAME-- is a legitimate way of playing the game. Those two ideas are directly opposed to each other. If I set up a Monopoly board, and I set out my piece, and then I go sleep for 8 hours, I was not playing the game. How is that not clear to you people?

Your “lived experience” is just anecdotes, which isn’t evidence. No, you said the “right way” was using the “tools and resources” the game provided, which is what AFKers are doing. I mean, does “not playing the game” get you rewards at a fairly fast rate? Oh it does? So obviously it’s playing the game to some extent. Completely not playing the game would be just turning it off. That’s a terrible metaphor, unless I’m uninformed about a new version of monopoly in which the pieces move themselves and better their positions/money over time. And how is it not clear to you that even by your standards that YOU provided, players are still technically playing the game the “right way”?

The fact that it's anecdotal doesn't make it any less true. Look at all of the other posts from people who are having the exact same experience. The right way to play the game is to actually play it. End of story. If you're AFK'ing, you're not playing, and therefore, you're not playing the game the right way. I'm sorry, but that's not up for discussion. They aren't playing the game. They're not. They are doing other things while the game runs in the background. If I load up a movie on Netflix, and then go to bed, I am not watching a movie. If I open a book and lay it on my bed, and then I go make dinner, I'm not reading a book. If I fire up The Last of Us, and then I go to work while the game runs at home, I'm not playing the Last of Us. The fact that players have found a way to manipulate game systems to get rewards they didn't earn, does not mean they're playing the game. They objectively are not playing the game. That is a fact. You can disagree, but it's not my fault if you don't understand how works work.

Uh, yes it does make it less true. That’s what anecdotal evidence is, less reliable and true “evidence”. Wait, I though the right way to play the game was to utilize the “tools in resources” in the game? Are you moving the goalposts? Are you just really confused? Or did the evil AFKers hurt you so much you feel the need to hate them no matter what? I don’t think you decide what is and isn’t up for discussion in a two way conversation Bub, that’s not how this works. I can’t be bothered to read the rest of your fanboy year soaked response tbh. Please keep crying though, narc.

As I said. You're dismissed.
