Could someone explain to me why Peregrine Greaves buffs melee the same percentage as Synthocepts?

I’d like to have a little...talk with the dev that thought this was okay. Get to know what was going inside his mind when he thought “hey, Peregrine Greaves only procs off of airborne shoulder charges, Synthocepts procs off of being near 3 enemies. It only makes sense for them to provide the same buff!” I don’t have a problem with sunsetting or trials (mostly because I don’t play it because I suck at pvp) but THIS I cannot stand for. How can I KICK SHI#% IN THE FACE FOREVAH IF WHAT I DO CAN MUCH EASILY BE ACCOMPLISHED BY SOME VEINY LOOKING ARMS? I WILL NOT HAVE IT! -Sincerely, the head Zealot of the Peregrine Greaves cult.

  • They just need to delete 50 % of the exotic armor and combine it into the other 50% I get why Bungie favour such blandness and it caters to the “that weapon/armor/mod is so OP” crowd but they are literally choking the fun out of this game in the process. D2 nades vs D1 nades a case in point no complaints from the OP crowd about D2 nades because by and large they all suck and the one that didn’t got nerfed.... Perigrins would be very nice combined with mk44 stand asides and maybe a bit more dmg, Foetracer and knucklehead Radar, Gemini and bombardiers, pretty much every exotic could use this treatment, you could stick Antaeus wards with aeon safe, or swift or whatever the Titan one is called. All classes would benefit Point is you’d have powerful stuff to choose from Instead of the current 28 bland exotics most of which only really work in content that your 200 odd light levels above and half of it isn’t even worth using then either. I mean an extra dodge, knife charge, a bit of extra ability energy here or there, a weak explosion when making a rift/barrier, reload your weapon when hitting something.....most of this stuff just sucks and bungie could remove it all tomorrow without anyone noticing.
