Yesterday, I posted a thread about a possible writing contest, and after enough people said “This’ll be so much fun!” I decided to go ahead and do it! This post is mostly just here to say “yes, this is a thing”, but I thought I’d also share a few basic details about how this is gonna work. So, next Saturday (April 11th), I’m going to put out a writing prompt. On Sunday of the week after (April 19th) I’ll read through all of the entries, and pick a winner! So you’ll have a little over one week to type something up and post it. You can either, post it as a regular post, with the Project Spinel tag (“Spinel1”) or PM me a link to some outside document (like a Google Doc or something). There won’t be any length limit, but please don’t write a novel, because I’ll probably have a lot to read! Oh, and don’t worry if you don’t actually finish—a well written incomplete document still has a chance to win! Well, I think that’s the basics.
