The 8 Principles; Prologue: Paradisum (Part 2)

The citizens of Paradisum believed everything to be comprised of 8 fundamental principles. Every principle had a part to play in the creation of every element of every object and organism. These 8 Principles were so potent in Paradisum that the facts that they governed were able to focus themselves inside organisms and objects, inhabiting them and granting them certain characteristics, properties and abilities pertaining to each respective Principle. Those objects and organisms were known as vessels for the principles. The 8 Principles can never be destroyed, and there can only be 8. If a vessel for a Principle were to be destroyed, the Principle would then be transferred to another organism or object. The 1st Principle is the Principle of Hierarchy. The Hierarchy maintains an order of importance in the elements of objects and beings. It governs a tier list of which components and characteristics are vital to an object and which are second to useless. Those at the top of the Hierarchy achieve Dominance. It is still unclear as to what abilities and characteristics that vessels of the 1st Principle acquire. The 2nd Principle is the Principle of Emphasis. The Emphasis represents focus and strength in one certain aspect or element of an object. Emphasized elements are stronger than their counterparts. Organisms with the second Principle are known to be self-centered and confident. Vessels of the 2nd Principle have the ability to strengthen a single core aspect of their being. The 3rd Principle is the Principle of Proximity. The Proximity represents the manipulation of space to bring certain elements closer together in order for them to be more efficient. Organisms with the 3rd Principle are known to be determined to reach their goals and desires, no matter what it takes. The 3rd Principle grants a partial space manipulation ability that allows the vessel to make rifts in space to bring desired objects closer to themselves. The 4th Principle is the Principle of Contrast. The Contrast provides uniqueness and diversity to an object by allowing opposing elements to stand out. Organisms with the 4th Principle are known to be very different from the majority of their species in both mind and body. Vessels of the 4th Principle have the ability to manipulate and transform an object into something completely different. The 5th Principle is the Principle of Alignment. The Alignment provides connectivity and organization to elements of an object. Organisms with the 5th Principle are known to be cunning, intelligent and prefer to focus on one thing at a time, moving in a straight line. Vessels of the 5th Principle have the ability to use matter in order to link it to other objects nearby. The 6th Principle is the Principle of Balance. Unlike the 2nd Principle, the Balance focuses on evening out elements to make them as equal to each other as possible. Organisms with the 6th Principle are known to be calm, civilized and logical. Vessels of the 6th Principle have the ability to make one aspect of an object equivalent to another. The 7th Principle is the Principle of Repetition. The Repetition outlines patterns and provides consistency. Organisms with the 7th Principle often repeat their actions and speeches in order to gain more of an understanding of the world around them. Vessels of the 7th Principle have the ability to repeat the actions and movements of objects around them. The 8th and final Principle is the Principle of Unity. The Unity maintains harmony between the properties and elements of objects in order to provide stability. Organisms with the 8th Principle are social and friendly with other organisms. Vessels of the 8th Principle have the ability to unify themselves with other objects and organisms, sharing their traits and abilities with one another. Every ability of every Principle is strong in its own way, but they require vast amounts of energy in order to use. There can only be one vessel for one Principle at a time. However, it is possible for a vessel to have the power of more than one Principle. In order to obtain all 8 Principles, one must be unbelievably strong in mind, body and spirit just to survive. That is why the king of Paradisum must be stronger than any other in order to receive the power of the 8 Principles. If the king receives all 8 Principles, he then must devote himself to protecting his kingdom from any and all invaders.
Fades Away
