What's a legendary sector? LMAO I can't even beat the damn edz tower. Not once. I've tried it with other randoms .... Nothing. And the moon tower and io? I've never even seen anyone there.

Legendary Lost Sectors are basically Nightmare Hunts but with Champions instead of Nightmares. They unlock once you clear the bunker for the first time but are stupidly strong.
