Lets not forget that the golden age of the flood took place under a regime similar to this one

Politics was taboo then. And tho it was before my time, it was as far as I can tell, a golden age. From a trolling/shit posting perspective, rules just make shenanigans that much better. I for one am not giving up on offtopic. I want this to be the dawn of a new age that will give us this generation's porch day and clockman. All we need is a little more imagination, and a little less toxicity to build for ourselves a new empire more glorious than the last.

  • I think the community is made by its people and not the rules, but it’s a welcome change nonetheless. Radical bait posting of that manner was old 10 years ago and doesn’t have any place in an actual community. I just don’t see people here as being particularly passionate about their stake in the community beyond occasionally messaging a few users. Projects like The Community Carnage, Coup, Installation 01, Thee Warriors, Bungieball and The Friends List only came about because they were founded on a vision that bought people together to interact with one another. With these rule changes I think we’ll see a decline in activity from previously prominent figures because they don’t actually have anything else to say.
