Can we have a game release without it being an online looter shooter.
Edit: guess there is a lot of single player games

We're sorry you feel that way, Consumer! But according to market trends, single player games are less popular and only make some of all of the money! So our shareholders demand we keep selling multiplayer and coop games at full price, with overpriced expansion packs and DLCs, that ultimately end up having half the content of those single player games you love so much! But don't worry! We've packed them full of repetitive content for you to replay ad nauseam to get those levels or random loot drops you love so much! And if you get tired of playing the same thing repeatedly, we've introduced microtransactions to save you time or give you a small chance to get that loot right now! That way you can spend LESS time playing the game you paid for! How exciting! Isn't it fun and gratifying? Aren't you filled with a sense of accomplishment, Consumer? Well if not, I'm so very sorry valued Consumer, but this is what we MUST do to make a profit as video games have become so expensive to make! Pay no mind to the CEOs and Shareholders behind the curtains who make 300x more than the average employees that they force into ruthless crunch hours to spew out bug riddled content! Ignore when a game makes billions of dollars and sells more than any other in the franchise, but is still seen as a failure to Shareholders! Please! Watch as we announce our record profits this year, but look away as we fire 800+ employees with little warning, then hire new employees in those same positions a few months later! This is all normal! It's the system working as intended! And if you suggest otherwise then you're a filthy commie and we'll throw our patriotic laptogs and superfans at you! We'll use our vast wealth, that we do not have for quality games, to hire teams of lawyers to talk circles around your points and rephrase things so they sound less shady to the old, clueless farts in office that would pass laws to make things more friendly for Consumers and less friendly for our offshore, tax free bank accounts! TL/DR? Don't worry about it, dear Consumers! Just keep buying the new, shiny things and shoving them down your face holes!
