Freelance makes life much easier for soloing in my experience, as someone who has gotten legend both from solo queue and in a fireteam. No one has communication so it is more or less an even playing field. Sometimes you actually get good teammates, and worst case scenario you get bad teammates who you can bait. Also comp is extremely generous now; the lowest you get for a win is 120 points I believe and on a full winstreak you get 300, up until 3500-4000 when it halves to 150 or something. Losing a game off of a win streak doesn’t reset your winstreak either, you just lose one off of it.
