I been playing destiny 2 since launch, i know their politics about this game. Hype everyone so they buy DLCs, then we get our hands on that DLC just to find out its garbage. They been doing it since CoO, this season was last drop for me, im not going to defent bungie anymore. They should put a STOP on that Destiny Cycle.

How can you defend shadowkeep and it’s mediocrity. We’ve all seen what bungie is capable of. They can put out great content and shadowkeep isn’t it . The best thing people can do is not buy future content . Speak with their wallets unless that future content is truly worth a purchase.

Well Luke smith did address right before shadowkeep that the seasonal content will be lackluster and al le carte so everyone angry and lashing out about vex offensive and the season itself should create constructive criticism versus shitting on bungie for poor execution.

D2 in its entirety is an error. Just sayin'.

Overall I enjoyed it. I wasn’t expecting forsaken level stuff with less people working on the game now. But the Final Assault was a serious let down. No one is overreacting about that. It is literally the same activity but a new boss and [i]maybe[/i] more champions, yet it was listed as a different activity. Shadowkeep I overall enjoyed. I would’ve liked a few different things and I was sad in certain areas but overall enjoyed it. But that doesn’t deny those areas where I felt needed more attention. Regardless, I don’t think people are overreacting with Final Assault. We were led on to believe it would be some great activity but it wasn’t. Everyone saying they won’t support Bungie anymore and so on simply had their last straw. That is their decision. But their reaction to Final Assault is justified (to an extent. I don’t want people to start bullying Bungie over this basically).

If I had a penny for every time I heard this on these forums, I'd have enough money to fund the entire Destiny franchise by myself. If I got a nickel for every time this was said following a Destiny blunder, I'd have enough money to retire after I finished funding the franchise. Don't get me wrong, I used to be a Bungie fanboy myself, but this is not the Bungie who created Halo. This is not the Bungie who gave us all those good memories, that earned our blind loyalty, and the time to wake up to this is long past. Nearly all of the developers who created those memories are gone, literally. It's time you, as I have already, stopped looking at this company as "Bungie, the creators of Halo" because that Bungie is gone. As goes with the passing of the torch, those who come after must be judged on their own merit, not on the stories of those who came before. If the people who walk in the shadows of giants are always judged for the shadows in which they walk, they will never reach greatness so as to cast their own. Much as I might sympathize with the devs, who's passion is often reflected in Destiny and D2, there have been far too many bad decisions made by Bungie's management. Halo's Bungie grew to become the legend it was because both the developers and the management were passionate about the world they were creating. What I see when I look at Destiny's Bungie is a group of developers who are passionate about their work being held back by management who only care about their yearly bonuses.
