Ace of Spades Catalyst seems to be not that great =/
Reading of a more powerful Dragonfly Effect combined with Memento Mori excited me, but in the reality, it's not that great.
Both in PvP and PvE I barely noticed the difference and also other people told me that they felt the same. It seems that the blast radius of Dragonfly remains the same and the damage, yes, it is increased, but not that much to make some kind of difference...
Is this just for me?

I think the orbs is the main benefit. I haven't checked but if all kills, including from Firefly, count towards orb creation, it's going to be a lot of orbs while mowing mobs during strikes. Already, it's the best long-range HC, as Crimson's spray kills it's effective range. All other major HC's, besides Eriana's, are mid-range. Which means, it'll always so more damage between mid to top range.
