Just another shitty way for bungle to make the grind worse.
Old armour system was better, armour 2.0 is just predictably bungles way of draining even more resources AND making you get new ones on top.

you have never played another mmorpg and it shows shit don't even try looking up runescape The issue that people had previously is that once you reached max light there was literally nothing worth to grind for outside of some gun quests that had the dumbest requirements now mods are permanent, the seasonal leveling makes bounties useful even after getting to 950 because there should still be levels to grind for and rewards to reap from it. That was kind of always the point with destiny, don't think of it as halo matchmaking for the entire game (or even crucible because bungie can't handle pve rolls in pvp)
