Nothing changed in 2.0. Except all armors dropped with random perks. Now those random perks are yours to fill. You just chase an element. It's simpler. Less rng stacked onto the pile.
You don't need cores to infuse. You can just infuse the [i][b]same type into the piece you want to improve.[/b][/i] that costs glimmer.
