11 RepliesIt’s pretty unreal how easy it is to drop a new commercial and repeat the same PR phrases from the last month and get a hype reaction because players really really really want the game to get good. I really hope that the game does improve for the average player over the next year, but this new commercial foreshadows a change in the game that means it’s going to stay as unfinished in the next 5 years as it is now after five years. By that I mean it hasn’t established what it is, not that it will or should end.

10 RepliesBorderlands 3 is just borderlands 2 + , it's meh,. So glad destiny is making actual changes and progressing the game, kinda sad that shadow keep is changing so much and it's a dlc. borderlands 3 had 7 years and it's the same as 2. Pathetic

A few key words the forum folk need to pay attention to: Action MMO, stop calling this game a loot/shooter Game for the core players, they are making a game for those of us that want to play as often as possible Play with friends, it's a co-op game stop complaining that it's not solo friendly Evolving world, this one you should already know, your $3.34/month seasoal content is going to disappear More focus on Crucible, PvP is very much apart of Destiny get used to it Bedrock, this is the foundation which Destiny 2 is going to build on for the next 5 years I'm sure there are more but these jumped out because they're brought up around here so often Bungie has told you everything you need to know, but I'm sure some of you will be here complaining the hour after you load up Shadowkeep

2 RepliesOkay. Tinfoil hat time. These new “artifacts” and the new mod system look interesting and seem to make the RPG elements a little deeper. There was mention in the vidoc that they are needed to complete the most challenging content. I have questions about how they work from anyone in the community and theories about their impact to the game: Do they reset every season? Kind of like clan banners that you unlock perks on. Those reset every season. Are they going to be a potential rift in the community as far as requirements go? It used to be “ must have Gjallarhorn” which then evolved to must be this light level then “ know what to do, with this many clears and this piece of gear and so on”. If these artifacts make doing these harder events possible then are they going to become a community requirement on top of everything else? I could be just seeing the worst to come of it but I see the potential of it as well. We’ll have to see how it pans out.

The only thing I learned is the moon artifact table which hopefully isn’t like CoS forge, and a secret exotic called xenophage or something like that. It felt like 10 minutes of nothing. Or just showing off the new moon we’ve already seen and the armor we’ve already seen. Maybe I’m missing something but I didn’t see a point to this ViDoc. Still excited tho!

27 RepliesSo what really worries me is when they say forsaken broke alot of bones and now they're going to reset them. Forsaken saved this game from dying. I don't want to go closer to the year 1 version of D2. If forsaken isn't want bungie wants destiny to be I'm not sure if I wanna play destiny. I dunno, I'm going to wait and see what reaction shadow keep gets. If it's like season of the drifter, or curse of Osiris I don't want any part of it.

3 RepliesI've been around since D1 Beta. This game has so much more potential than what we have been getting lately. Its been 2 steps forward and 4 back repeatedly. Hopefully the game will make a strong comeback one day.

2 RepliesBungie, you have no idea what you want to do. It changes yearly based off content creator feedback. I hope it’s cool; Y2 has been a net positive. Hopefully you’re still moving in the right direction. No one will be surprised if you’re not. And if it sucks this time, Destiny will be over once and for all. Which I truly hope it isn’t. Good luck.
