Meanwhile on the plane of Fire...

A cold desert landscape as far as the eye can see. Pale light emanated from the horizons, but no sun or stars could be seen. Without its queen, the plane slumbered. A small camp had been set up recently. Scientists bearing a strange and tattered logo worked tirelessly on a stone machine. The runes were slowly lighting up along it's edges as a tall female figure instructed them. A small pair of golden wings that held a ruby glistened on her breast. After hours of laboring, another tall woman stepped out of a tent dragging a gagged and bound man. He fought, but the drugs did their work. He soon slumbered peacefully. "Patient is ready. The synth form is being assembled. We're on time." "Indeed. The machine is almost ready. Oh Cell, if only you could be here to see her." A few scientists brought metallic items over to the man. A few clearly had the Celluloid corporations symbol on it while the other was trapped in a box. A faint screen on the side readout VIRUS SAMPLE. A bad alliance of tech for certain. The sand white stone began to glow brighter. Lolth, in her Drow form, waved her hand, and the machine began to spin. Time travel was in her grasp once more. "Wake him up. The patient must be conscious for the mind to form." A white lab coated man injected El-ahrairah with a needle. Slowly opening his eyes, El noticed he could not speak or move. His vision blurred and he couldn't think straight. Metal encased his body from head to toe. Before he closed his eyes from the brightness of the portal, he noticed a small creature taken out of a box and put on his head. The pain that ensued almost made him faint. "Stabilize him." Immediately he was injected with another drug. Now he couldn't pass out, but he felt everything ten times worse. The brightness, the pain and horror. How much longer can I last? He asked himself. "Launch." Lolth pressed the last rune, and the desert was bright once more. Clouds of sand erupted from the machine. Lolth did not take her eyes off the portal, even with the bright light and energy spouting at random. Everything appeared fine. She would come through any second now. Any second... In another blast of light and fire, Evelyn-3 exited the time portal. Scientists held their breath in awe as they gazed on her. A metal woman, she seemed. Comely and tall. Her first step into the present day was greeted with cheers from the Nightfall Battalion. Anticlimactically, she fainted from loss of power. Her metallic form collapsed into the sand, and her core's light began to fade. Like a mother rushing to her dying child, Lolth picked her up and inserted the ruby of fire. Light began to return as Eve-3 gently fell asleep. "My child..." "Cute kid. Now let's get outta here." Gently carrying her form to the warp point, Lolth set her down. The camp would remain, but several scientists and the tall woman would leave. Setting her hand on the jeweled heart, Lolth sent them home.
El-ahrairah gave me permission, don't crucify me.
