Glitch in the tribute hall segregates the rest of us trying to play the game normally
So yeah. Thanks for leaving major glitches in to your content that supresses the players that don't immediately seek out guides and glitches on the web and rewards players that do.
Also why the hell do tributes cost so much? What is it like 12k glimmer and 240+ legendary shards?
Players are just getting the free tribute over and over again and planting it behind the statue where you would place the first tribute flag using an alt character until they reach the 50 limit. Then content creators are getting paid for 5-15 min videos that that cover what I just described in a sentence. Nice racket btw. Lame Bungle.
Edit: I got sick of seeing people get triggered by the word "punish" so I replaced it with "segregates" and "supresses". Those better describe the issue at hand. Also changed "as soon as the dlc drops" to "and rewards players that do" [Thanks Error37]
That should slow the Trolls down a little.

The tributes cost a lot because Bungie wants you to burn all your resources before ShadowKeep. Obviously. I mean, only a handful of people are actually gonna wait for the full 80% discount and even then, it'll still cost you a lot of materials. If you did the glitch, you are a badass and deserve a medal. Or if you are me, you'll wish you waited because the glitch was posted 4 hours after I already wasted material and therefore couldn't do it. So I took an L on that one.

Bungie should give the catalyst to everyone, if they’re not going to do anything about those who glitched to get it . Maybe they should take it out of the game , add it to strikes let everyone have a chance to earn it or make a new quest and refund anyone who has used materials towards it . Just doing nothing is not a option they basically telling everyone use what ever glitch you find and you keep any rewards. If nothing is done people will continue looking for these glitches. And I will be using whatever they find from now on if nothing is done .

People using the glitch benefit from it and are rewarded. But you aren't being punished. Whether that glitch exists or not doesn't change anything about your current situation with that quest. Now if you would argue that this horrible quest design of mindnumbing grinds and currency sinks is a punishment in itself, you'd have a point.

Nope. Doesnt punish anyone. There were options from the beginning...take your time and do it at an 80% discount, or blow your entire load within 30 seconds and feel like a failure. You chose to blow your load at full price. The cheese has nothing to do with that.

It was more like 60000 glimmer and 15000 bright dust and 1200 legendary shards and 700 mats on day one plus you would’ve needed to complete almost all your tributes to have 50. So the majority of players with catalyst and x mark spot just like cheese and so do I but I missed out on this one so I’m just left with the wine. Cries in only have 38 tributes

What do you kids get from trolling all the time by acting dumb? The tribute hall was meant to be completed [b]OVER TIME[/b], not all at once like your favorite streamers/youtubers do. They do it so they can showcase new stuff so stop copying your idols and then getting mad about nonsense stuff.

Bungie is very relaxed when it comes to cheesing. If they enforce this and reclaim rewards, they should reclaim all Lunas, not forgottens, Recluse and mountaintops done through win trading as well as all enhancement cores people earned from the sharing glitch, for starters. Then, I would think it 100% fair and fully embrace Bungie reclaiming all the above.

They should just lock the emote behind placing all tributes and unlocking all the triumphs for the tributes.

I'm doing legit in 42 triumphs. Just need 50k nf and infamy or valour grind. All else is done. It's a pain and I would have taken the glitch over this as there is zero new content for me and all of this is without raid.

2 RepliesTry being me. Didn't do the glitch, low in mats glimmer and time, and low loot in the vault. Damn near had to delete my whole vault of things I really wanted to keep just to get a gun I already have in D1 that now feels way worse than it did in D1. Now I'm looking stupid because my God rolled weapons are gone. Only cared to get the quest done to get the gun now I'm mad because it's meh. Got 18 tribute done, forget the others.
