Asian invasion to Europe.
So, i got in PVP casual match and got matched up with guys from Asian server.
4 of them. All in same clan and fireteam. And im playing on Europe server.
So they had big ping and they just steamrolled us. Why? You might ask.
Well it is all because this game has awful ping compensation. I shot one of them 3 times in a head with Ace packed with Memento Mori shots. So he should die, right? No. He just has such big ping that he was able to run up to me, shot me with shotgun, and only after that he dies with my hits registering.
I died too.
Why does game allows players to change server and go in PVP? Why it doesnt check their ping to allow them to get in PVP? And why no one can see their or other player's ping?
And yes, i know that without ability to change server sometimes it is almost impossible to find a team to do forge, or raid, or any other PVE stuff.

I can say from expeience, as I lag 2-3 seconds behind players in region, ping advantage is a myth. And with Destiny being as cheaply made and developed as it is I can't play out of the Asia region or suffer a zoo of animal codes. More than likely they were in region but up to something, like when I would play IB in D1 on PS3 and players would lag the servers or whatever they did. Lost track how many hologram players I shot at in IB thinking they were real until I saw them hit a wall. Remember Destiny is Peer to Peer connections and no dedicated server. As for games that let you change servers, any game I have played other than World of Tanks/Warships/Warplanes since Wargamming is behind the times and lazy to connect regions on PC, but does allow region switching on console, but you can setup an account in any or all regions as I play on the NA server and not SEA since my clan is on NA. War Thunder I have set for RU and SA searches, with NA in the times I need people that speak English.
