I check up on this post every once in a while. Probably once a week just to see how this thread is still trending. And what do u know.... Every week I get 100+ masterwork cores. I play the game. You should too.

I doubt you’ll be this honest, but how many hours do you play to get 100 masterwork cores in a week?

I do one strike, get a ton of trash. Dismantle all that trash. I get a ton of scrapper bounties from all that trash. I only do 1 scourge and 1 last wish nowadays on my lock (master race). Dismantle all that trash.. get more scrapper bounties.. complete all bounties while not even trying ... Go pick up my hawthorne reward.. another 7 easy cores.. that's already like 50 cores right there in a matter of 4 hours max

I have never gotten THAT much trash from "one strike" to get "a ton of scrapper bounties" from it. Plus, at max you can carry three scrappers at a time, which pushes you back in another strike, a lost sector, and a crucible match. Gotta go off and finish those before you can get more. You raid, giving you access to more curated gear AND extra clan bounties to complete. That's a [i]very[/i] small percentage of players. IF you got more scrappers along the way, gotta go finish those now. And then you're still lucky if you've finished Hawthorne in this one go to get her reward. No way that's taken you only 4 hours to finish that run. AND if you want to stay swimming in cores you gotta keep all that up constantly. Sounds like a lot of tedium in service of a useless currency. But you're logging hours, which is why Cores were introduced in Infusion to begin with. I'm sure your Certificate of Thanks from Bungie is in the mail. The rest of us are going to continue to try and pry this useless chore out of the game so we can get back to [i]enjoying the game.[/i]

EXACTLY. No lifers are the only ones who "don't have a problem" with this poor game design. They're also the ones who show up to defend same badly designed system. Why? Gives them something to brag about. No lifers love that.
