yes , they need to stop rasing the RNG timegated light levels , ideally move to a XP-based system , raising levels makes only sense if theres enough content that the levelling happens naturally while exploring , having to grind your ass off every few months on old content just to unlock the latest content is a very bad lazy system

The problem is Bungie LIMITING powerful drops....and then bottlenecking infusion. Both act to throttle progression and break the relationship between player time investment and speed of progression. Bungie knows this sytem is failing, but (again) are too proud to just back down and fix it. Shit I haven't played my Hunter in months....but want to know what the first bounty item for The Revelry dropped as? A 673 helmet for 649 Hunter. That massive a jump is Bungie's tacit admission that they know this system is broken and isn't working.
