Difference between Bungie and a movie production studio. Fans: We want cores out of infusion. Entirely. Out. Bungie: Too much work. Work is hard. Fans: What is that spiky blue nightmare fuel abomination of flesh?! Jeff Fowler within like 72 hours. "Okay so I'm seeing that you're not happy with our design choice... So we're going to fix it. We're going to create a new model, and modify every shot of the character through out the entire movie, just to make fans happy. We're deeply committed to our fans being satisfied with our design choices because if we're not making this movie for fans, why are we making it?

  • Honestly.................... At this point.... They should probably just leave power level at 700 instead of bumping it to 750 which will end the complaints pretty nicely until September. Adding more grind isn't going to get players back at this point. If the content isn't worth playing people aren't going to play it.

  • yes , they need to stop rasing the RNG timegated light levels , ideally move to a XP-based system , raising levels makes only sense if theres enough content that the levelling happens naturally while exploring , having to grind your ass off every few months on old content just to unlock the latest content is a very bad lazy system

  • The problem is Bungie LIMITING powerful drops....and then bottlenecking infusion. Both act to throttle progression and break the relationship between player time investment and speed of progression. Bungie knows this sytem is failing, but (again) are too proud to just back down and fix it. Shit I haven't played my Hunter in months....but want to know what the first bounty item for The Revelry dropped as? A 673 helmet for 649 Hunter. That massive a jump is Bungie's tacit admission that they know this system is broken and isn't working.
