What negates your position is that games-as-service thrive or die on customer feedback as they are considered live games. It’s not about just blindly accepting a bad change in the process. This type of game requires customer input or it can’t survive. It’s not a standard single player campaign game that is what it is on launch and never changes. It is supposed to be a fluid game. Bungie implemented a change in the process of the game and it was met with overwhelmingly negative feedback. Their response was clearly inadequate as the issue is still prevalent. Again, they have asked for feedback and call this a discussion - so far it is not. If the community disapproves of changes and then the developers ignore their response, eventually the community withers away and the game dies. I would say that your defense of Bungie suggest that you are on their payroll, but your responses indicate that you don’t even understand the product. You are arguing for outcomes that are contradictory to the very survival of the franchise. This whole issue is just the latest in a long line of missteps they have made and the way they are not addressing it is having a negative impact on the community.
