Instead of removing from infusion, I'd much rather see an overabundance of cores. From dismantling to being drops from a NF or specific activity guaranteed. So much that you'd need to find a way to sell them for other materials or glimmer, etc. The spider sells them for shards. How about gunsmith sells them for parts?

However, I also want Cores to be actually useful beyond Masterworking. Perk Rerolls and the like would be amazing. But they should not be used for the levelling grind in any capacity. They need to be a true end-game currency, something that players at Max Power would need to prepare for the hardest parts of the game.
