Remove cores from infusion. From INFUSION. Surely this cant be that hard to implement or understand.

 • You can remove cores from infusion to about 90% of your gear.

 • Given Bungie's laziness I can see it being hard for them to implement because it would require work and they've already finished their development cycle until the next dlc out in september. Which isn't announced but you know it's coming so bend over and prepare your "wallet" cause here it comes again... But what Bungie can do quickly and easily is reply to the exploit by putting a cap on cores at 2000, and awarding everyone 2000 cores, putting everyone on the same playing field until september where in they will probably have removed cores from infusion and possibly removed cores entirely for a new mechanic, perhaps masterworking a weapon is accomplished just by using the weapon continuously until it has gained enough experience to unlock the next level... Basically bringing back the "experience" physic from d1..... Personally I've always felt that masterworking a weapon should be in response to how you use it, mitigating the weaker points of your play style... Constantly shooting at things outside of your effective range causes it to increase your range, constantly firing at max fire rate causes it to increase stability, so when you fully master a weapon, it might have two or three perks that it elevates, or if you focus hard enough on a specific trait you might be able to get all your points into that....... Either way, the only thing I think can be reasonably expected sooner than September given the unforgivable laziness of this developer is a cap on cores and a gift of max cores to tide us over until the next development cycle starts in order to get people off their back. I feel like they know there's no way out of removing them now but they're not going to modify any of their currently "completed" releases, the development cycle on that is finished and they aren't changing anything they've already completed. Similarly we aren't going to see sparrows on mercury until September and bungie stated "we tried to fit that into our last major release and a bug caused a problem, we'll let them know you still want it." Translation. We tried to implement it, it created instability, so we left it out of that release, we are not going to put any work into the existing build, we'll see if we can fit it into a future build. Long story short, they don't actively support their title except when they absolutely have to like a major exploit is detected giving people free silver or thousands of free cores, which they hop on in hours if not minutes. They develop like a "regular release" developer, like there's a new call of duty every year. Just unlike call of duty they just keep recycling the same assets and "expand the universe."... It's possibly the laziest thing I've seen in gaming history. The same price for half the content.

 • I really like your idea of free cores.

 • It seems the simplest way to solve the problem of economy until something more permanent can be done about it....otherwise the people who used the exploit a few weeks ago are now far better off than people who either chose not to exploit or didn't hear about it until afterwards... That's going to throw off their whole progression curve in opulence.... Well that's my opinion anyway.

 • That would be a logical thought, but so far Bungie are against acting logically going by the evidence...
