Unless you have a thousand shards lying around, it takes you WAY more than an hour to collect 30-40 cores every week. And if you have a thousand shards every week to spend, you drop way more time in-game than most people could hope to. That’s not a knock - I’d love to be in that situation. But the reality is, an hour farming cores per week doesn’t get the vast majority 30-40.
