I do use my gear the whole time. I just keep the higher level stuff in my backpack and scrap them when something higher drops.

Cause that's how you play a game based on loot and that attempts to focus on class builds? That's fine and dandy at say level 15.. but once you hit the "end game" they are functionality pointless and add zero value to the experience. IMO they take away from player freedom for the sake at gating progression. Ppl either have an over abundance which makes the whole "meaningful" argument moot. While others struggle with a pain point. If one person's experience is THAT different then its broken and a problem. Regardless of how you view it. Ppl have absolutely stopped playing because of cores. No one and literally no one would stop if they were removed. That only further proves how little to no value they bring.

Again, unless it's 20+ over what I am at I don't bother infusing. I don't use trash just because it's a higher power. You can blame me for being frugal with my cores and using them when I need them.
