I’ll ask again why hasn’t anyone from Bungie joined in on this discussion?
Surely the Dev who thinks cores should stay should be on here and try to defend his decision to keep them.
Wait until they want to sell us something they will discuss plenty then .
But I guess it’s hard to defend a system you know is broken ,and to remove it would highlight even more the lack of loot there really is in a loot based game .
Cores has become Bungie idea of end game .

Cores are their solution to keeping us trapped in the mid game. They know this game has no endgame. Which is why this contest of wills drags on.

You likely wouldn't have to buy whatever they're selling if they even do change Enhancement cores around the same time because the change would almost certainly affect all players of D2 regardless of expansion ownership.

They have explained over and over that they want infusion to mean something Because it means something to them to them they want you to really decide what to play with Vs To the players it is a blocker to the basic endgame

Simple. The people with the power to change the game, aren't willing to talk to us. ...and the people willing to talk to us (the CMs) don't have the power to change the game. Which is why we are locked into this contest of wills with the devs....and the CMs are stuck in the middle with little-to-nothing they can say other than "we're listening"....and "Continue to give us your feedback." Because the devs aren't listening to us....and I suspect they aren't listening to the CMs either.

He should be told to come here and explain his reasons , at the end of the day like it or not we are all customers with issues about this system , and they should be here talking to us , not ignoring us like they have done . And yes if it was me I would be on here , talking to customers who help pay my wages .

They gave an answer, yes. They didn’t however, explain it. On its surface, their answer makes zero sense. “We want infusion to be meaningful. We want you to make meaningful decisions.” Pretty much EVERYBODY who has participated in this topic of discussions has said, cores or no cores, there’s no “meaningful” anything in this decision. Not saying who’s right or who’s wrong, but if you’re the only one who holds a specific opinion, nobody (the opinion holder as well) should consider it a valid belief if they are unable to discuss, explain, and defend it. Don’t just send somebody else to repeat it and then disappear.

Perhaps. In fact, likely. But my answer has nothing to do with video games. It’s simply logic and defending a position. If you can’t defend it or refuse to defend it when your opinion is being eviscerated by people, you have no defense. Doesn’t matter if your talking about destiny, French cinema, or herb gardens.

Cowards with no balls and no legitimate argument. Even the people bungie pays to be here rarely are, dmg being the most active since i started using these forums back at the beginning of D1.

As I said it’s hard to defend a system they know themselves to be broken , so rather than try to defend it , they try to ignore it and hope it dies down and eventually goes away . The stupid Dev who is forcing this system on their players should be told to come on here and explain why . Least then everyone will know who it is driving players away .
