Was thinking about starting up D2 again... saw this ‘discussion.’ Think I will hold off.

People in my clan are at 700 with the same gear from last season.

Good idea! Bungie still doesn’t get it. They’re pretty much our Mommy and Daddy now. Can’t have too much fun or freedom, we might hurt ourselves. Definitely don’t play, not worth it.

If you’re content to only play with a handful of weapons and one or two loadouts? Come on back. If you have several hours a week to to throw away to a mindless grind just to use the gear you already have? Come on back. Otherwise, wait for Bungie to come to their senses. That will happen when the see the One Finger Salute they’re going to get when they try to sell us next years Pass.

Edited by Tomahawk Badger: 4/20/2019 8:26:16 PMI think Bungie are purposefully doing this, the only reason I can think is that D2 sales will always generate revenue for Activision even though they have split and Bungie are working within the confines of their original contract to make D2 as unappealing as possible. I think in the hopes that they can sell us D3 as this great game without the restrictions Activision put on them. If it’s true I reckon that’s a little shortsighted cos if they don’t fix the core issue or many of the other crap aspects of this game like crucible match making and lack of content then no ones going to be buying D3.

If you have average or above intelligence you'll be fine and cores won't be an issue whatsoever 👍

Most players with 'average or above' intelligence already left this game. Cores are no longer a problem once you quit the game but they do a fair job of keeping potential players away.
