ASotF: Chapter 9 (FANSTORY)

Hello, Guardians! I have been working on more chapters for this story, and of course, the last year of high school takes a TON of time. Also, I have been lurking around the other sub forums, as well as this one. Gotta love those Stalkers.... Anyway, I hope people still remember me and this story, and maybe some more advice? Hope you guys enjoy, I’ll try to keep posting. Have a great day Guardians!
Also sorry for the short chapter, it was meant to be a bridging point for all the characters (or most) ;)
Chapter 9 Getting up after revival, Khalid scanned me to make sure I was fine. Grabbing my secret Shadow Price auto rifle, I pulled it up to aim and look around, as I feel a throwing knife fly by my head. I reach out and catch it, looking where it came from. Unfortunately, I already felt a punch to the face and to my gut. I took the knife and stuck it into the Hunter’s knee to disable him. Wincing, I pick up my gun and spray at him. I was shocked when the Hunter got up fine, until I saw the Cabal Phalanx shield and a smiling Exo. “Oh, c’mon! Really?” “Yep,” replied the ecstatic Exo, and he nodded to something behind me. I look and it’s a Hive Knight, covered in white silk, like a Hunter’s cloak. I shrugged as I got knocked back some yards and landed with a hard thud. Suddenly Mira’s Ghost comes over and floats in defense of me. “Stop it! Where is my Guardian!” he yelled, and the Knight looked down at him. You’re going to die! I screamed in my head. That’s when the strange part occurred: the Knight held Ghost in his hands and replied. “She is safe, Light. You’ll be with her soon.” “No!” I yelled and grabbed for Ghost. I pulled with everything I could muster, and I saw Mira’s hand pulling back through an orange and red portal, unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Ghost went through, and I let go so my hand wouldn’t get cleaved off. Feeling defeated, I prop myself with my arms behind me, laying on my back. “Seems like this is my end, huh?” I taunt the Knight, as he gets ready to cut me in half, until the Hunter, now accompanied by a Fallen Captain, interrupts the swift movement. “No! Wait,” he yelled, in a commanding voice. “He knows her,” he said in a lower tone, “and he must stay alive.” There were hundreds of questions and scenarios running through my intellectual Warlock brain. Why is this Hunter fighting a fellow Guardian? How did the Captain get here that sudden? Most of all, why aren’t they attacking the Hunter? Once again, I drift into the black oblivion, but not feeling myself dying. It’s just like falling asleep.
